FAQ's

Why are you so passionate about Purebred Berkshire Pork?

We have found that without exception the highest quality and most consistent pork is from a Berkshire pig. Berkshires have maintained dominance as the go-to for premium pork for over a century.  As a heritage breed, they excel in many of the areas that dictate pork quality. These include, but are not limited to, traits such as marbling, color, and tenderness. On our farm, we utilize tested genetics to ensure our Berkshires produce the highest quality pork available. This ensures that our pork is some of the best you will ever get to “bite” into

What cut of pork do you use?

Our production process utilizes 100% purebred Berkshire pork loins. Just like you would cook for your family at home!

About Us

Work 'N' Walter Farms started in 2020 as my freshman FFA Supervised Ag Experience project. Initially as an independent swine farmer, I worked tirelessly with the production and marketing of breeding stock. After growing to two separate farms and at one point six different breeds, I quickly realized that there was a huge need for more marketing support of independent family swine farms. As we believe that the best life for an animal is on an independent American farm.
