Are your pigs humanely raised? 

We pride ourselves on the humane treatment and quality care of our pigs. Additionally we believe the best life for any pig is in the care of an independent American farmer! All of our sow production is California Prop 12 Certified. We never utilize gestation crates or stalls on any of our farms. Both our sow farms and finishers are routinely audited to ensure they meet our guidelines for humane treatment. Additionally we utilize limited stress loading facilities and practices in all our transportation. This guarantees the highest quality end product in both our meat and genetic sales. 

What makes your Berkshires better?

All of our Berkshires are bred with a purpose. Being one of the largest Berkshire marketers in the country has given us the ability to test and select from one of the largest and well managed gene pools in the US. We utilize both genetic and physical scanning technology in conjunction with littermate carcass inspection to select our extremely high quality sires. When combined with our endless production data you can be sure that our genetics can make better pork; more efficiently than the competition. Do you sell Feeder Pigs?

Our purpose bred Berkshires are available at any size almost all the time. Ideally we sell all of our feeder pigs at 55 lbs. This guarantees that they will thrive and not miss a beat when they get to your door. Our feeder pigs can be raised under a variety of production claims. From ABF to Outdoor Farrowed we likely have a farm raising them right now. Please contact us directly with any questions about feeder pigs. 

Do you sell Fat Hogs?

We started our Berkshire marketing working directly with independent butchers and processors all over the country.
